The Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Metro Bacolod
Chamber of Commerce and Industry will formally sign a sisterhood chamber
agreement on July 16, NOCCI president Ed Du said yesterday.
The signing rites to be hosted by NOCCI will be held at Tierra Alta, Palinpinon,
Negros Oriental.

Under the newly created Negros Island Region this will fast track the economic development of Negros Island through inter-chamber alliance, cooperation and promotion of common advocacies, Du said.
He cited the areas of investment promotions, infrastructure development, tourism, agri-business, renewable energy, retirement, business process outsourcing and education.
Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. and Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo have been invited to the affair.
NOCCI is also hosting the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Visayas Area Business Conference in Dumaguete City July 16 and 17.
NOCCI is the first Visayan chamber to be hosting VABC composed of four regions with the creation of the NIR, Du said.
Joining the conference are business leaders from Region 6 (Western Visayas),
Region 7 (Central Visayas), Region 8 (Eastern Visayas) and Region 18 (NIR). *CPG
