A Vision for the Future: Negros Occidental Socio-Economic Development Framework
At the heart of Rediscovering Negros Edition 4 is a comprehensive Socio-Economic Development Framework for Negros Occidental. The goal? To create the future we want to live—one where economic growth, sustainability, and community upliftment go hand in hand. By laying out a roadmap for development, MBCCI is taking the lead in building a brighter, more resilient future for every Negrense.
Developing and Marketing Rural Negros: A Movement for Transformation
In collaboration with the Province of Negros Occidental, MBCCI is launching an initiative to Develop and Market Rural Negros. The aim is to revitalize neglected rural areas, boosting local economies and creating new opportunities. Inspired by the biblical story of the Five Loaves and Two Fish, the program emphasizes that collective efforts, no matter how small, can lead to significant transformation. Through strategic projects, MBCCI is ensuring that no one is left behind in the province’s journey toward prosperity.
Powering Up Negros: Empowering Rural Areas Through Energy Innovation
The Negros Island Power Forum is a major highlight of this edition, focusing on creating sustainable energy solutions for rural communities. MBCCI’s Power Resource/Infrastructure Development Roadmap will lay the groundwork for rural industrialization, helping the province become a leader in energy efficiency. With clean energy infrastructure and practices, Negros is setting itself up for long-term economic growth and environmental sustainability, making it a model for the future.
